Are we supposed to be impressed? I don't get why people do this, it looks bloody awful and it ruins a really nice wheel.

It's not, you're worse putting a tyre which is too wide on tbh.

There obviously becomes a point where it does become dangerous though, and I think we've found it

schmidt th lines, very expensive. I was talking to the guy at dubmeister, he was telling me it was going to be special, but thats just ghey! When i spoke to him he was trying to get me to buy 15x7" all round and he sent me a pic of the wheel with an apparent "not much of a stretch" It was a huge stretch, not as bad as that though.

I think that if you took a corner at speed you wouldn't have a lot of grip and you are going to hit something with the dishes on the rim...

legal as long as the tread is inside of the wheel arch.

IMO that is stretched too far.

My mate has 195 ove his 8" TH Lines but 9" is asking for trouble.

A stretched tyre looks the nuts on any euro wheel / car but there is a point of going too far and that bloke seems to have found it

14" x 8" with 195 on my mates lupo:

it's going on a saxo, they can't do 100mph, they're all crap. i'd prefer to see it doing 50mph round a corner tbh
