Saw it today
What a film...I thought it was MUCH better than Sin City and I loved that!
If you get the chance go and see it. Well worth it
**EDIT**
Those of you wanting to see it but not leave your house, there is a 10/10 DVD Scr out there

Looks amazing, can't wait to go see it.
I like the way its not an estabilished cast either, works better for period films.

Saw it last night and enjoyed it but have to agree with the empire review in that you dont really get the chance to get attached to the characters and from the very start the film trys very hard to be an epic and trys to get your respect before its earned it.
I would reccomend seeing it at the cinema due to the stunning visuals, it would not be as enjoyable at home thats for sure.
Gladiator is one of those films you can repeat watch, would have to say this isnt imho.

Dragged the gf out to watch it last night.
Thought it was really really good. The visuals are amazing and generally very well made. As SetH said, its probably not a film you could watch over and over, but watching it 1 or 2 times is def worth it.
I would say to go and see it at the cinema though, as think a lot of the effects might be lost if it wasnt on the big screen.

OMG - superb film!!!!
Didnt think I'd like it as I heard it had the same visuals as sim city - which i wasnt too keen on as I thought they OTT the use of that type of visual effect
however, 300 seened to incoperate that effect extremely well.... using it only when it was needed. Think the film wouldnt be as good if it was produced using a more 'serious' filming technique
Also, I thought the script was pretty modern (if you know what i mean) and was funny in other parts.
excellent film, high recommend, 10/10
pew pew pew pewwwww
