Reset ecu? All you need to do is disconnect the battery and leave it for a while don't you?

Well, I religiously fill up with BP and have done since September in my car.
When they were test driving the car after repairing my crash damage, the EML came on and it was the oxygen sensor (Lambda). Luckily, they got 1 from Vauxhall - the last one they had in stock AND were just putting it through the insurance company. As I had a full tank of petrol and I said it is definitely BP in there, I had to pay for some cleaner stuff you put in the tank.
Whether it was the last one at Vauxhall Bedford or in the country, I don't know.
Doubt mine was to do with fuel, I think it was damaged in the impact, especially as it's behind the radiator.
Good luck on getting it repaired
It may have just worn out

Happened to a mates car but the garage admitted the fault was due to petrol contamination and as a result tesco are paying for all repairs

I didn't think there was much difference between supermarket standard and BP/Shell standard petrol - the difference is in their 'Super' fuels.

I only use fuel from Shell anyway.
Using Optimax at the moment. What it run like with no Lamba? Got the EML on all the time? Running rich?

Thats esso! I fill up at either Burgh heath (on the way to work) or Guildford (near my gf's) or at Buckland (just down the road)

Bugger
I've stopped using supermarket petrol now, partly due to all the recent milarky and also because if I use bog standard Esso or Shell petrol, I get around 20 miles extra to the tank.

use v power, you get even more, my mum's 1.0 arosa on v power gets an extra 25 miles to a tank over std shell. means nothing to me tbh, i just fill up when it needs it, but to some people mpg is serious shit

Don't think I can justify spending extra on my poxy 1.2!! Plus I have tried it before on a couple of occaisions and found it to run better on lower octane stuff.
