You have two sides one out in the field, and one in

Each man that's in the side that's in goes out and when he's out he comes in and that man goes in until he is out

When they are all out the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in out

Sometimes you get men still in and not out

When both sides have been in and out including the not outs that is the end of the game

people that say cricket is shit are the type of people that are scared of catching a hard heavy leather ball travelling at 50mph.

Loo, you a re like my hero! you play hockey and cricket? If only I didnt work weekends......... Found an evening league side last year which at least gets me some overs in But nothing like a Saturday on the field with a nine over opening spell
