Can anyone recommend me a hotel, hostel, or campsite in Newquay?
Going there in June and i've had a look using Google but there are hundreds of places, i'd rather go with somewhere thats been recommended to me.

Smugglers Haven
Trevelgue
Sunnyside - never stayed here - apparently its not the classiest of places but they will let you in as just lads.
Hendra is nice but you may not get on.
Porth Beach is very nice indeed but also strict families only.

We have an install at a place called the AquaShack. Never been, but it cheap and cheerfull, its a b+b/hostel for surfers etc.

One of my mates is from Plymouth so the plan is to spend Friday June 22nd in Plymouth, then Saturday June 23rd in Newquay. Cheap weekend away with a couple of mates basically.

We will probably be going just for the weekend also. Not sure on dates though. Only gonna be a few of us as well (5 or 6).

According to the website 'We are pleased to announce that the all new Sunnyside Hotel will open on 1st April 2007.'
Smugglers Heaven looks best so far.

Been a couple of years since i went but it was alright. The toilet blocks are usually a mess unless they've been cleaned within the last 30 minutes, but apart from that the actuall site is pretty good. Bit of a mix of people but never any trouble when i've been there the last 2 times before.
Handy hint: Don't que for showers in the main block for the 18-30's site, walk (or drive if your a lazy c**t like we were)to the block at the topof the site/opposite the shop in the family bit .
