Im contemplating not converting my car anymore as its a fair amount of money and effort. And at the end of the day it's still a corsa.
I would like to know what cars I could get for around £6k possibly £7k. I would like something turbo, doesnt have to bv completly practical, but it will be used as an vveryday car. Insurence cant be rediculous but i will be 21 with 3years NCB. I dont want massive milage either. So far ive thought of:
ibiza cupra
evo 3
What else is there....dont want anything french either

Thought of an astra...tis a possiblty
dont like the look of 4's
Imprezas are common as much now in my eyes
Arent MR2's quite slow?
RX7 its difficult to get a low milage example now isnst it...do they need rebuilds quite often?

Evo 4 looks 100x better than a 1,2,3!!!
Imprezas are common cos there good, although I see 10 corsas on a daily basis to every subary I see Get a ltd edition one...RB5 would be sweet fannytastic
MR2's are far from slow!! Rev 3 is 240bhp, £800 on a few bits will up that to 300bhp....just go easy in the wet.
RX7 - dunno grey area, most imports have no miles on them for some reason......ask nismo about costs

I think that 3's look more mean and purposeful. 1's and 2's look kack. Agree to disgree i think
What sort of running costs do performance jap cars entail? I know its gunna be more than my corsa . expensive to fix if stuff goes wrong? What about import insurence?

I think the 1,2,3 look very similar, 4,5,6 look lots alike & 7 & 8 are again similar style
Petrol was the only sore point with my scoob, servicing & parts was fairly average. No idea about import insurance!!

If you get a JDM Impreza, Evo or RX7 you are looking at instant Ins: 20 As Colin said, Scoobs are common as they are fine cars, if you want something different get the RB5, or a Terzo etc.

Well you can usually hear a differance in the note from a exhaust between a 1.2 and a LET...Why do you still come on here if you have such a grudge with corsas? All you seem to do is moan about them.

Depends what the exhaust of choise is. I dont have a grudge with them, where have I said I have, ive mearly stated people say imprezas are common when theres plenty more corsas on the road. Ive owned both, I have eyes...I dont think thats out of order. Anyway why come on here if you have an astra

Judging by your post in the S/E region about having no money to go southend etc etc....i'd say any of them cars bar the Astra and the Ibiza are going to cost you an arm and a leg to run especially the Evo and RX7 as they have strict servicing intervals and other asociated running costs!
