Read the idea thread in PL. Its in testing and will be removable if you don't want it.
Its choice is based on postcode you supplied, and then on regional boundaries according to the map on Location Services.
DE is in West Mids - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/map.php?fid=36
MK is in South Central - http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/map.php?fid=34
The boundaries are pretty much set in stone.

Good feature!
Would be good if we could select and choose which forums we wanted to be listed (perhapps at the top of the main forums index) and have a minimised bit for the forums we less reguarly visited (just below the topped ones.
But good stuff ian

Could have done with knowing this a while ago.
When you say classed - by who?
I'm classing it according to what makes sense on this map

Can be changed, its just a big job.

We get local East Midlands news (which consists of stories other than gang related shootings and features on the Bull Ring in Birmingham) like the West Midlands rubbish!
I do not wish to be associated with Birmingham

I get Look East as a local news station. Its tricky because I'm 30 miles from london (SE) and 18 miles from Northampton (EM).
I know MK is in South Central but so is Bournemouth and thats 122 miles away

http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/map.php
Thats the full map. WM is red, EM green.
How come no one noticed this when you put your postcode in and it said 'Your Regional Group is West Midlands'
