i like working with cars, and or electrics

i have a good knowledge of fitting stereo's and stripping various cars diff models etc
and i have a good enuff knowledge to get me by on other electric on a car,
my engine knowledge is limited

i have some computer skill, mainly strip and build and re-install, programming i cant do.

labour jobs i can do just about anything

considering getting a new job, needs to be better pay than what i get now which is about 12k before tax, mebbe a little more.

ideally i want 15-16 but more is always better

just fishing for ideas,

Office temping? Go see some agencies.

Ripspeed stereo fitter?

Big companies would pay about £7 p/h for labourers.

job centre is bloody useless,

get a good c.v. written out, with some past jobs you have undertaken yourself, and send it to garages, be confident, the diagnostic systems are pretty simple, although i havent used them in over a year i reckon i could do it again no probs, and i was only a 3rd year apprentice

but yeah go for it, life's to short to be doing something you dont enjoy,

i hate doing jobs where all you work for is the wage and you get no satisfaction

look at getting a mechanical apprenticeship; or find a boat builder; as far as I'm aware we pay our engine fitters/laminators/Sponsons builders a very good wage - plus the option of overtime

We're based in Cheshire as well

www.Deltaribs.co.uk

A job as a fitter may interest you; engine fitting and all the associated mechanical work

i enjoy the job, but im getting loaded up doing hands-free kit fit to daft expensive cars and not getting any credit for it, its not bloody easy, today vw tourag, you might think theres loads a room behind that dash for the kit,. no fucking chance. 2 bloody hours.
and getting loaded up with more responsibilitys and jobs but no pay increase. too much pressure for too little reward.
