always think your better of upgrading suspension and brakes prior to upgrading power! That loud pedal is to tempting!

is your plan to get the engine then change the brakes and suspension at a later date? just save the money for it all in one go, and get all the hassle out of the way in one go, in my opinion of course

are you doing a 1.6 conversion?

You can pick up corsa sport brakes cheap enough! Suspension wise all you need is sport setup but a fixed rate shocks n springs would be better for a few hundred.

i can never understand swapping an engine when vauxhall made one with it already in! A lot of hassle when you could just buy the real deal.

are you planning a 1.6 conversion then or planning on running 1.6 brakes with a 2.0? as steve said, it'll work out cheaper just buying a sport if its the 1.6

what have you done to yours? are they parts you can transfer to another car? if so take them all off and put them on a sport. take your time finding one and you'll be happy! Can't keep a car forever, what are you gonna do if you get kids? limo corsa!

so youve got uprated suspension anyway?
£100 would get you some s/h 2.0 callipers and new vauxhall discs and pads!

i would have invested in some uprated stuff but as long as you are just taking it home to gain funds for the upgrades then do it i had my uprated suspension for the conversion and 2.0 brakes a month before hand

Personally, I wouldn't even contemplate doing a conversion to a bigger engine of any kind without having the suspension and brakes BEFORE, asking for trouble IMO.

Gmax kit will be fine, just need the brakes, BUT with the stuff you've done to your it wouldn't be difficult to put it back to std, only mod that you can't put over to a proper sport would be the tints.
