I got pulled over for the first time in my driving life last night (5 years).

They stopped me on a bridge going over the M11 after following me through some of the most borring speed limits in my life.

Soon as the lights came on and we pulled over, turned my lights off along with the engine, jumped out of the car and walked up to their door and said "hello"

Don't think they were expecting that but anyway, spoke to me on the side of the road saying I was "obviously going faster then 40 through x y z" and I was like "really? "

Anyway, checked my driving license and then asked if I had my other documents on me which I didnt (apparently you need to carry insurance/mot whatever now).

And that was it, we had a quick chat while his mate checked over my tyres (i think) and he ended up saying sorry at the end after writing out my ticket to say he had stopped me.

Interesting experience to say the least, pays off to be nice to them as they are only doing their job, I think it would of gone differently if they tried to give me 3 points

Well, he didn't have any proof of my speed at the end of the day. But its always worth being polite, speaking nicely and not coming off as a cunt.

nah, coming into a 40 area at about 60 I reckon, saw the 5o and decided to just put my clutch in and brake a little so it didnt look too obvious (they were turning into the road I was coming into). Then they started to follow me.

If they saw me giving it proper death the nice boy routine might of not worked.
