Does anybody else get nervous spending money on mods not knowing whether it will look good or not or work well etc...?

Or am i being a big girl?

I've just seen a 106 with similar mod to what i was planning and i'm really glad i didn't order it today.

i usually try and find as many pictures/information as possible before buying/fitting mods for my car now.

when i didn't it came out all chavvy so i ended up starting again and wasting a bit of money (about £100), a lot for me as i only work part time, just wish i had spent that on something useful like gsi skirts

Thats the thing, i wouldn't consider myself chav, and i love my pug, i wanted to change a few bits but i'm worried it'll turn chav, it won't be anything i can't put back but i don't fancy throwing £££ away just to see if it looks good!

No i still think they will look good

I was widening my wheel options and i was looking at TD Drifz which TBH are similar to Wolfrace octanes, (in terms of black spokes / polished lip) and i found this





I'm just not sure if it will look good on mine and i think it's so easy to turn a nice subtle 106 GTI into a chav wagon!

thats why photoshop was invented..so you could put something on and have a look before you buy it
