Orderd new leather sofa 30 december. after loads delays gets a call saying that its coming today!!

They have just phoned, they have had a blow out and maybe sometime!

they called and said they will be about an hour.... then 30 mins later they have a blow out??

i have had today off work so if they dont come i will be sending a wage slip off for compo!!!

nah doesnt sound right to me, tbh, just ask if they can prove that they have had this 'problem' and if not just ask why they were really late!

They actually bought one from the showroom when i was at the flat, for a trial fitting, couldnt even get it through the front door ended up getting 2 2 seaters took 6 weeks to make, from dfs, couldnt fault them really!!

i ordered one from land of leather told us it would be 12 weeks which was fine as we are not moved in yet but after 4 weeks they phoned and said it was gonna be a further 12 weeks

Did you know, when you buy a sofa that says 50% off, it's not a £1000 sofa for £500. They just advertise them for 1 day well over price.

Surley thats a breach of Trading standards as you cant advertise a product at a sale price, and claim that "real" price is really high without the product in question being on sale at the "real" price for less than 28 days

Ordered mine last Thursday, got delivered on Saturday!

Wish I could say the same for Eleccy/Gas, got to wait another week to get it turned on, they need to send an engineer out to reset the meter which on minus £107.00 and the gas is on minus £1.20 I offered to get a gas card and pay it and they said no they will reset it as its not my bill to have to pay haha:
