I want to order some totally plain white numberplates where can i get them from? Tried fancyplates but dont really understand teh site.

John I was on fancyplates.co.uk! Got it now, having second thoughts though. Robin do you know what font Mark Brosters numberplate is and where he got it?

No idea on the font, he got it from some place in Northampton though, which doesn't help you

One like my rear you can get from Halfords mate

I got mine from a show last year by DMB Graphics.

cheapestplates are really high quality plates. and a bargain for a pair. I've recommended them to friends.

I could pay £30 for them to be done with my V5 present, or £20 without

Why would you need a v5? Im gonna go down halfords tomorrow haha and see what they can do for me, if they do plain plates

Dunno, something to do with having to register all plates which are made, to make sure you're not ringing a car.

The plates I bought were sold as 'signs' the bloke said 'I can't call them numberplates, and I can't suggest you put them on a car, but what you do when you leave here is up to you'. They're 100% legal font/format wise though, just £10 less as he didn't have to do any paperwork.


Most places ask for the V5 though, just to be sure.

no, that was optional. halfords will turn you away without a V5 and your looking at atleast £20, that and they'll only do 100 % legal plates.

this was halfords, just ask for a plain plate with no GB
