Been thinking about this for a while now, i really fancy doing a few track days but don't want to use the astra. So i've been looking at 205 Gti's 1.9's and clio 1.8 16v's. As both of these are ment to handle well and be reasonally quick to start with i think.

Anybody else have any suggestions on any other cars ??
Wanting something for under a £1000 idealy. Also what would you have out of the clio and the 205 gti's ???

What about a corsa c20let?

There is a few 106 rallye's going cheap but a 205 1.9 gti is a popular choice!

thats wot i thought, couldn't think of any other cars.
Never driven a 205 but people tell me there pretty quick, are the much quicker than 1.6 ??

My mates clio 16v was a ball to drive! He always used to drive my ibiza and i used to drive his for a bit of fun, handle very well and are nippy.
