Just a couple of web adresses i can have a scan see what i should be looking for i.e good points, bad points power figures

Golf VR6 just some general pointers really like power figures - what to look for when buying (if i buy one) what to avoid buying really.

Forced induction seems to be the popular route. Apparently they are strong enough and can take a decent whack of boost before the lid needs to come off.

turbo or supercharger. 250bhp upto silly amounts. i believe the 2.9 vr6 lump in the coraddo is a lot better.

As i say Golf engine isn't as good as the corrado.

They are very quick once up to speed. Top end 50mph + it was keeping up with my ibiza (200bhp), bit sluggish off the mark.

With VW makes sure it has FSH. Try finding the highline.
