Fuck that, don't buy a classic. You could get a bugeye for that or even a high mileage 2003 blobeye (which will still be quiet as anything providing its serviced).

How much do ones like yours go for? If you dont mind me asking.

I'd guess it will be over my budget.

Just looked at that one brett

I prefer the styling on your blue one, nicer wheels/spoiler etc.

STI PPP'd like mine with DCCD and intercooler spray, etc will be £15k+ depending on mileage.

I agree, classics look ace, but are very dated. Who wants to be driving an old scooby. Get a bug eye or a blob eye. WRX power isn't amazing but you can always PPP it and make it close to standard STI power.

I'm not a fan of the newer ones....classic shape is definitely my favourite

I don't like the way all modern cars seem to be made curvy

TBH looking at this list.

http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Data.aspx?model=850

Only a handful are over 6 seconds to 60, and as I was previously looking at Astra GSism anything sub 6 secinds is plenty quick enough!

Are there are models that have styling like yours? Or are they all gunna be £15k +

Mine's the extreme edition with big skirts, spoiler, scoop, etc.

You could buy all the bits aftermarket for a couple of K

I thought yours was an import Breticles

Classic has a raw feel about it and you get quite a harsh turbo kick. Interior isn't the best though, dash very basic and quite cheap.

Newage (Bugeye,Blobeye,Frogeye) lacks the feel of the Classic and is more refined, gone is the turbo kick. The car is a lot more solid though and the interior and dash is a lot better.

A Bugeye has exactly the same power as a Classic and is slower. The Blobeye has 6bhp more, but is heavier.

the bug eye ones seem to be the best value, and they look ok with morettes on
