few pics of the B below, im sure some people remember it on here.

anyway it may be dead and being split, possible , and they clearly are not bullet proof

the tensioner bolt broke, and the belt slipped round a few teeth as the tensioner was just hanging on, broke all the followers in the camshaft casing.

anyway i bought some followers and had them fitted, but its not good news. the valves are fucked and the casing has now shown a crack in it. so i need another head. but not sure if to bother or not, or just split it

i've got followers and lifters and a cam for that engine.... which you can have...

hopefully the car will stay alive, im getting a price 2moro hopefully.

since pics were taken i have bought some black angel eye projector lights, but they are still new sitting in the box in my room now this has happened.

Get on the phone to a breakers yard mate.

I work at DA Autoparts in South Scotland (www.daautoparts.co.uk - 01387 264813) and we have a few of these engines in at the moment....

MPi heads have round inlet ports and round-ish exhaust ports (SPi heads have square inlet and round-ish exhaust)

Easy swap - stick a new timing belt and gasket on too, then it will be bullet proof

Full Cyl head would be approx £50 tops.

the one i was on about has lots of vales....

its the 200mph engine everyone is raving about!

little bit like the vtec in honda's..

mate, for the prices you can pick an engine up for i would say get an engine! especially when your car is looking that good, looks lovely imo!
