Well the first bolt was tightened on the MK Indy R1 last night! Chassis came back from the powder coaters so made a start. Already have floor, wishbones, suspension, steering and hubs in place and it already looks like a car! At this rate I dont think it will take long to finish but Im guessing it will be the fiddly bits that will be the most time consuming!

We have also bought the engine now - 2002 R1 engine with 6k on the clock, should be 150bhp ish? And have all the body panels now in white!

Nah, they are only cheap these things £3k buys you the kit and then prob another £1k for engine/box etc!

In a straight line up to a ton or so it will give the Tusc a run?

Yeah, I do need to do a progress thread but I always forget the pics!!! Ill take a load tonight tho cos we need to do the steering and possibly get the diff mounted.

how many weekend cars do you need!!! LOL!

I was gonna say it'll be bloody rapid and great fun, but then remembered you had the tuscan! It'll probably be quite tame in comparison!
