Prepare to be stressed out with removing the bulbs. They can sometimes be a bit fiddly
Also on some models they have a clip lower down that hold the lights in. Not on all models but if it feels like its stuck try & reach through the grille to unclip it

Why do you need to seal them?
You take the old lights off and put the new lights on. It's pretty self explanitory when the lights arrive and you get onto doing the job...

They were on Steve's turbo when Anup owned it. Not sure how long for though... Midas stole them off of Steve when he bought his Euro's and tried to sell them to me. Nice one Rich Smith you cunt.

I wouldn't say it is resealing, it's just adding extra sealent - I did it to be safe.
Haynes tells you to drop the bumper - there is basically no need - just wiggle the lights around, and they'll come out at an angle. Do it slowly and memorise the angle so you know how to put the Depos in.
I disconnected all the light connectors and electric height adjustment connectors, then changed the bulbs over when the lights were out of the car - much easier.
The height adjustment doesn't feel like it'll come out. Put the old lights on the floor, put on knee on it, then pull directly up. It's like a ball/socket joint so takes some pulling.
On the main beam light, I used the rubber seal off the original lights, as my Depo one seemed too big and had trouble connecting the power back up.
You might find it useful to undo the 2 grill bolts on the slam panel and 2 bumper bolts on the slam panel, gives you that extra bit of room.
Oh, on the drivers side, you'll need to remove (if you have small enough hands) the air intake pipe which is also attached to the slam panel. If you have bigger hands, you might need to remove the air box completely.
Remember all the light connectors have a clip which you need to raise up, then pull - don't just go pulling the clips off.
That's about it really
P.S. I'm a complete novice with regard to car stuff, so although that stuff might seem basic, it'd have been handing for me to know.
1 more thing - once fitted, get them aligned at an MOT place. I did, £10 it cost me. Either that, or park at your garage with door closed, lights on. Mark where the beam is, fit the Depos, then adjust accordingly.

Basically, on the back of the electric height adjustment, there is a dial which you can turn, this adjusts up and down. The, if you look at the slam panel, there is a hole in it, on top of the light. That is a flat head screwdriver iirc, which adjusts left and right.
I went down a country lane and just stopped, could immediately tell they were out. I just wanted piece of mind, of the MOT centre adjusting them.

Or, do it yourself with some chalk and a wall/garage door.
turn the lights on, put the chalk where the light is on the wall, swap the lights, turn the lights on, align them using your chalk marks...

Haynes mauals are shit, drop the bumper??
Just unplug it all, twist the electric adjusters out and put them in the Depos, slot them in, plug everythin back in , move on
Will have to take your airbox out to do the drivers side, guessing you know this cause you only just put it back in didnt you?
