Got a mate who's come into a bit of money. He's looking for something for between £20k-£30k. Something flash, doesn't have to be practical - he just wants something that looks the part.

I suggest Porsche 996 or Ferarri 348.

Couldn't think of much else, any suggestions?

I was in the same boat about 6 months ago. Went for a Redrose TVR Tuscan - Very happy with my choice altho I am happy I went under budget and kept £5k back as its always frikkin breaking!

Well mine made it back 250 miles yesterday without breaking and started fine today; so they are not as bad as i anticipated!!

Yes, they most certainly are! Since I had my cats removed I noticed it was a lot smokier cos the cats must have been catching the oil that it was burning.

Anyway, it went in to have the engine rebuilt under warranty a couple of weeks ago Two more or so to wait! He did say it would be bulletproof when its done and with the extra headwork its having it should net me a few more ponies so its not all bad!
