corsa b's in ireland, not sure if its northern or republic...
were called Opel Nova's for first year of production, ie 93, early 94?
i dont belive the person who said this, anyone got any gen on it?

i though the same too, even asked a mate who live's in ireland, confirmed it's not true, too me...
but two people on another site think its ture, as one used to live there

all nova's bar the uk are called corsa's

I'm sure Ste knew that as well.
Incidentally, it wasn't just the mk2, the mk1 and mk3 were also Kadetts, as were 3 models before the mk1 Astra.

yep, and the mk1 is also classed at the "D"....... So where did A, B and C go?

dose anyone know why only the UK had Novas rather than a Corsa A?
Well in spainish Nova means No-Go...... therefore why would Opel call thier car the "no go"!
