I'm in my final year in Uni and I've failed one fucking exam from semester 1.
What makes it more annoying is it is a pointless fucking shitty 10 credit pointless module that I fucking hate.
Does anyone know if this means I won't be able to graduate in June because of it?

Whittie - was only a 10 credit module and I only failed (Or what I thought was failed) the exam; I passed the coursework.
It's alright though...just rang my tutor and the R for Resit which was stated actually means Referral so I passed the fecker....JUST!
Fucking HCI - Pointless pile of shite!

I've never failed HCI Done the same bastard module 3 times HND, fisrt year and then they added it again in the final year.
We did no work, and i mean none Handed in a few pages of crap and got 67%
One of my mates is like, wtf have you spent so much time at uni etc. Because i wanted to, enjoyed the experience and had some fun. Plus, i want a career, not a dead end job..

You'll be fine - you can normally trail one full unit through the duration of the course - just dont fail anything else

you can usually retake depends on the uni and course though. You can still pass a year as long as you have over a 100 credits unless they are certain kinds of modules

aaah uni is for fucking useless little tossers who can't be arsed to get a job, they keep telling them selves they'll get a really good one when they are out, when they do come out they are over qualified for most things and haven't got enopugh exp for the other jobs, so end up as bums or coming into an agency where i work and go out sweeping the streets.
that'll teach the pikey bastards for doing nowt for the past 5 years!!!!

What I find funny is that some people go out to work full time in pish office jobs at the age of 16 and are earning fcuk all 4 years down the line.
The student spends 4 years having a fcuking good time, comes out and earns more go figure.
Regarding Uni, I failed one module and still graduated no questions asked

unlike the murphys, you're not bitter. I go to uni to avoid work and have a laugh, nearly done now though. Oh well while you have been working for the last 3 year i've been chilling out, with the odd piece of work to do here and there. Regardless of qualifications and jobs after i'll not regret going and meeting some top friends from all over the place. Not everyone has the same priorities!

I go to University and I'm not a fucking useless little tosser and to be honest I take quite a bit of offense to that. Are you sure you don't want to reword it rather than make a fool out of yourself?

Haven't read the whole thread but nothing from my 1st year goes towards by degree/graduation in 2009 - just indicates whether I actually get in to Year 2.

Just cos you have no education dont mean yo have to get out your pram over it.
yeah some ppl come out over qualified, but eventually they get jobs that pay more a week than you earn in a month.
so shut up you prick

I've just finished a four year degree, studying a course which I couldn't have learned in an apprenticship! - I'm now earning several thousand more than mates who left school at the same time as me and didnt go to uni; and I have a job with great prospects!
However I do agree some courses are a waste of time - English Lit being one

it does - you need the cat points at the end; however CAT points dont affect your final grading; only year 2/3/4 affect the grade you come ou with!
You still need to get the correct cat points to get a grading though
