Heard rumours over the last couple of weeks that a local gang (asians) have a hit on our door (nightclub). Don't want to say too much but had it confirmed by officals. Not quite sure how cops get to hear about these things before we do, must be informants?
Don't think they have anyone of our front door team (3 of us) in-particular targeted though. We have confrontations upto 4 nights a week with these people so they don't like any of us.
TBH they don't have a clue, theirs a select few who are known to us and all must be known to the police. CCTV watch all that goes on. I guess thats why they havent got the balls to do anything themselves.
Wonder if they will get their moneys worth

What sort of ballbag puts a hit out because they don't like the bouncers.
I've had run in's with bouncers before but I just give them some abuse then forget about it when I sober up.
I don't think i'll go and waste 5k getting him done.

We get abuse from customers all the time, it's part of the job and i accept that. Most forget about it once sober, as you said.
Bit different with these though as we have some kind of confrontation with them or people connected to them every night we're open. Threats are always made and nothing ever happens though.
They're like rats, a couple of calls and they're coming out of the drains.

The threat is there and i'm obviously aware, but we get it 4 nights a week, every week. £5k is nothing to them.

In all honesty if anything happens i doubt it'll be much. As i say we get threated by these people all the time and nothing comes of it. They act big in their Range Rover Sports etc and like to scrap in groups of 5+ but that's all really. The worst that's happened so far is a doorman got bottled with a champagne bottle by someone connected to them and they frquently turn up in their car loads and sometimes try and kick the door down.
We had something similar a while ago but this was work related, another door firm wanted our door so paid a group of asians to give us a kick in so we couldn't work so they could take over the door. All that happened was a bunch of skinny 6st dripping wet guys rushed the door with bats etc... we just shut the door rather quickly
