2. 1993 4.0 v8 Chimera with 50k

3. Impreza STi PPP with 26K

Guy over the road from me just sold one of them TVR's, (number 1) cause his wife was pregnant, and 2 seats obviously wasnt practical. I never went in it, it was a 1996, loud as fuck and seemed pretty quick. Hes now just bought a silver scooby similar to the one you have shown, but not STi, cause he doesnt like big spoilers on gold wheels, but its got the prodrive pack on.

If it was my choice it would be the Scoob or Evo.

Car would be used for a few miles couple of evenings a week to the gym and social millage; less than 5K a year. I know the running costs are high on all

Im guessing your budget is around £10-£12k? Wouldnt bother with a TVR for that price, even the new ones are fucked so an older one would do your head in!!!

Is the car a daily driver? Prob the Scoob for me!

yeah thats the most i wanna spend really; Ive heard better things about the older v8's; been warned off the speed six and cerbera's tho by an expert. Just love the engine sound and that 5.0 has a few tuning goodies and standard it will hit 60 in 4.1

VX220 doesn't do anything for me im affraid

The Speed 6 is the best engine thats been used in a TVR as far as power and design goes, its just not durable enough! They are seriously fast tho.

The V8's are a much stronger unit but you'll still have all the other build issues tho! Proper shame really!

Still gonna say the Scoob me!!!

if it's just going to be a social thing then surely the evo and scooby would be a bit pointless? Not exactly fancy cars, might be quick but the TVRs would be just as driveable and look a lot better.

Personally if its only for a few miles a week then i would go for the Jag, the number plate alone would be worth a fair bit, it's flashy, has a fair bit of grunt and looks the bollocks.
