yup every 1 
factory said they were gonna release v12s but production ones all had twin turbo V6s that put out over 500bhp and it was said the v12 would never had matched them anyway

After consulting Wikipaedophilia, I'm part right...
The original concept was meant to be a 6.2 V12 provided by TWR, but it wouldnt pass the emissions laws back then, so they went for a V6 Turbo instead.
I'm gonna have a look back at some old pics, sure there was a V12 220 in the Jag museum at Browns Lane when I was down there...

The silver XJ220 in the Cov motor museum is a V12, from the XJR-15, which preceeded the XJ220. The V6 was the same as used in the Austin Metro

ive never seen a v12 xj, unless it was the prototype shown at the bristish motor show in 89ish ?

I always thought it was a V6 cause they already had the engine, and it was released during a time they didn't have the money to develop the engine. Same reason they didnt make it 4WD which it should have been too!
