... take the piss out of people who fear BUTTONS

One of my old teachers was scared of them, so I thought I'd see if it was a real phobia, and found that site

Buttons that have dropped off something seem worse than ones attached. Clear ones with 4 holes are probably the worse for me.

This is what I thought, but it seems to be an actual proper fear of buttons
How are buttons scary though? I just don't get it

i share the phobia of buttons, loose only it seems now im older, but again, since being very small.my mum used to lie to me and tell me clothes didn't have buttons on them if they were on the back and i couldnt see them, again, the shirt ones are the worst. but im ok with my own buttons now, i can sew them on and stuff, its other peoples that freak me out. i managed somehow to do a GCSE in textiles and use buttons; but i had to buy them from the shop myself (with the help of my mother for the initial handling). once the teacher made me get a button from the button box, was a total nightmare- got a nose bleed from the stress! the loose threads on them are the worst bit, but worse was in the button box, looking out at me, even worse i think than buttons -loose teddy bear eyes and a nose!!!!i'd like to say my friends, but im not sure, when i was in the loo, sorting out the nose bleed, filled my pencil case with them, i went hysterical when i saw them, all looking at me, the noses looking wet and runny...i can't go in 'teddy bear factory' shops at all, have to stand outside!
i know i shouldnt laugh but......
