After buying my car when i was 16 as a flame red GSi replica, i made the changes as you know to:







Few features, redline cover feature (never got released ) fastcar feature, opel tuning, couple of other foreign mags, won fair few trophies etc had a good year in 2004. The split bonnet being the 1st in the uk got plenty of attention along with all the shows across europe

Then end of the season changed to: for 2005/2006.







Won 4k with the autotrader comp, fastcar cover, opel tuning feature etc, round europe again showing it off. Had a great time with the car and got to know so many people etc with it

Stripped it and sold off in bits for a winter make-over this year - then decided to sell up - so now its sold Not sure what the new owner is going to do with it etc but hopefully get around the shows again and is looked after.

Sooooooo...........thats me sold up after x amount of years with the car

lovely mate

especially how different it looked in the 2different seasons, amazing the amount of work thats gone into it and the transfomation

cant wait to se what you come up with next cos no doubt it wont be 'run of the mill'

absolutely stunning car, i think i have some mags that it was in! phase 2 looks 100x better imo.

Did you do alot of the work yourself or did you just throw ££££££ at it??

threw far too much money into it but better than pissing my money up the wall got things to show for it

Got 7k back from splitting it and the 4k i won so works out 11k - put 21k into it but from getting freebies/discount could have been bout 30k.

Building a LET corsa at the min got everything i need just need to pull my finger out, but instead im playing with my bikes and quad at the min for a while

Thats not all bad, ive spent £20k+ on various cars in the same time maybe a bit longer, nothing quite as unique & won no awards though

it drives steve lol doesn't handle amazing but drives, did 8 shows abroad last year never trailered (apart from max live when it want right)

LOL jill - nah not sold to him

As for my LET leaving it standard at the min, will see as i go along but its not started yet, engines at mine, conversion kit also, doner car is at mates its all over the place
