Just been looking on the Astra-MK2 site with my mate and found this. I thought you guys would like a laugh. Oh, it's a LET.
I'm not trying to start another childish "my dick is bigger than yours" thread, but just read this on MIG and thought it was rather amusing having read the rather heated thread on Mk2 v Scoobys a while back.

an f reg astra. still cant get over it,
managed to pull up to him ten minutes later and find out he has 3 lt v6 twin turbo arrangement going through 4wd with direct nos and twin intercoolers
HOLY SH*T guy spends his evenings baiting for evos scoobs and anything else. it's in the aberdeen area bright yellow black wheels and HUUUGE wheels arches watchout for this badboy"

Lets make a thread about Scooby's owning corsa's with warrenty approved performance parts as well when we're at it. Or Astra's with warrenty approved performance parts But well done to the lad for having a quick car.
Edited for Rob.

And I think it's more to do with the point that the lad with the Subaru thought that it was a 3 litre twin turbo 4x4 with nirtous and 2 intercoolers... not a poncey 2 litre FWD thing from 1989.

Not really suprising is it. A MK2 will weigh less than a Scooby for a start.
