i've just had the best (most scary) experiance of my life! as it hapoens i am a LERANER and brought my shiny new corsa few weeks ago. i waited for my dad to get home from work so i could drive to the shop and get some milk (strange i know) anyway, never got to the shop had to go all the way round the block and home again which took bout hour and half (0.5 miles) i live on the top of a hill, very steep hill with lots of speed bumps so i put all my learner experiance together and stuck it in 3rd, floored it and finally bout an hour later i was home with considerably less tread on my tyres. all this because of some stupid snow!!! it bout 6" deep here! anyone else got any experiences?

Dont let it put you off... I was crashed into at a roundabout as a learner but my Dad made sure I was driving again (i actually finished the whole journey) - if i hadn't have done, I dont think i'd have been sooooo confident!

Snow here is getting bad. I live on a steep hill, and the road isn't used much so the snow settles, then become's mental trying to get up it. All good fun tho.

I know what you mean, took me an hour to get home from a town 6 miles away when a few years ago we had alot of snow and had to pull away in 2nd gear or you just spin up I even did a 360 when trying to go in very slow motion (everyone was doing the same and pulled over on side of road) lol
