It's 2am. Just looked outside to check on my cars b4 i went to bed. Astra's all frozen but my Corsa isn't. I can see 4 more cars over the road all frozen over.

Why isn't my Corsa frozen?

I haven't driven it since 5.30pm. The guy over the road with a mk5 Astra got home at about 6pm. His is frozen.

Any ideas?

Faceing away from the house, kind of mirrored to the guy over the road. Both have a hedging same hight as the car. But can see straight through it.

And no electric heater.

You drove further on your journey home so your car was warmer?

Could also be the other way around for the same reason that hot water freezes quicker than cold - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mpemba_effect

Closer to buildings / structures you wont have as much frost, Thats why I like to park up next to my house when I can on my drive, rather than at the front of the drive

She said no. Said she found a birds nest. But nothing in it. She said she'll go back in the spring.
