The point being, you can't catch Bird Flu from eating infected meat. You probably wouldn't even get it if you ate the meat raw - you would get the shits though

It's like SARS, luckily that went out of fasion and never came back... This is stupid. I mean sure, you probably have to cull the flock of infected birds to prevent mass infection of livestock, but the fact that people are still worrying about dying from this is rediculous. It's probably some bullshit to keep people inline. I feel we are fed so much crap these days to keep people living in fear. Every day there is some threat of something new that will kill you People need to stop and thing about the real problems out there.

The reason the bird flu story has come back again is because Labour are in serious shit with the home office bullshit, so with this news story floating around the home office gets pushed the back once again.

Its absolute testicles.

I watched the news earlier and they were trying to hand out some bernard matthews cooked meats and no one would take them...... I don't think people realise that cooking the bird KILLS THE BUGS & VIRUS' OFF ANYWAY !!!! I think its a lot to do with the media coverage of it as well... If it wasn't in the news so much or if people actually listened to it, they would realise this....

I don't think there is a big panic? 159,000 birds were culled it got as much coverage as it should have tbh, the problem is the fools that seen birds getting killed at a Bernard Matthews farm now think you die when you eat a chicken drumstick.

The only conspiracy the government are pushing is that there educational policies work, the braindead public would suggest to me otherwise.
