Hi all, i have come into the storage situation of really wanting a Nova SR as the next mode of transport for a while

But is there anything to look out for apart from rusty arches?

Also any good examples would be much appreciated.

This is the reason i want one . . . .

Cheers,

Dan

Look out for -

Rust
Wiring (make sure the lights work)
Brakes (they're pretty crap)
Check it's not stolen
Make sure it hasn't been broken into, and that it has an alarm.
DON'T buy one if you can't garage it, as it WILL be broken into.
Sunroofs leak.
Exhausts rattle.
Wheel bearings can be noisy.
Mine was a complete pain, the lights didn't work properly, it was in need of brakes and wheel bearings, the RCL was wired in badly and didn't work to start with and the the carb kept freezing up

And it got broken into.

Was a great car though

Rust really is the main thing though check EVERYWHERE.

Mine was clean, it had NO rust on the arches, they were straight as an arrow

It was a 1.3 SR, was nippy enough, really good to drive.

It had a Mk2 Dash and GSi interior though, better than the Mk1 dash and burberry interior of an original SR.

That Blue SR is the colour I wanted.

I'd have one of them, or a Black GSi

Looks like a blue SRi to me Rob. I'd love a Red GTE or a White SR tbh.
