Was talking to Jas16v last night about santa pod when i came across loads of videos of my old C16XE from last jan's Corsasport meet.

As the engine is now in my new nova and as its gonna smash the old time the red nova set i think its only far i whack some vids up

haha was middle of jan and traction was shit.

Them vids are with standard C16xe Cant wait to see what mine will run now its been messed with and hell of a lot lighter!

Fad/JR will tell you... the best part of that day was the drive up there.

it was just mental in so many ways. I dont think ive even seen a bunch of people drive so fast for so long!

Ill be happy with mid 14's how it is now tho.

My old 2.0 16v ran 14.661 so i'd like to beat that

dude why is your air filter where it is!? surely it wont be sucking any air there??

iirc you were going to mod the scuttle panel with a small discrete scoop? its slatted anyway so should get sufficient amounts of air

Trust me the area where it is gets ALOT of air. A hell of a lot more than if it was behind the headlamp sucking in heat from the exhaust

I am gonna make a little scoop and box the filter in but for now thats fine

i luvd goin rnd silverstone in my nova did it 3 times, 1st time in my corsa i melted a piston u can beat the good old 8vs
