2.2 NA or 2.0 Turbo please discuss
the latter is £442.40 more to insure and slightly more to buy
[Still havnt ruled out Elise S2 or Clio V6!]

Turbo all day long if you can afford it...rember ay 40k miles its engine out job for cambelts etc
NA is good if you are on a budget as the 2.2 has a timing chain hence no need for costly changes till really high miles.
Both great cars...but turbo would be a batter buy as it'll hold its value

Turbos aren't holding there value any better in relative terms....
If i had the money I'm not sure I would go for the turbo anyways, certainly in standard spec they have a flat spot...much better with a remap
Im 99% certain its not an engine out for the belts either 40k service on a VXT is £489ish

I find it funny all the folk saying turbo or nothing, the n/a is still a very quick car it's just that the turbo is supercar performance so i wouldn't discount the 2.2

Turbo. If I got the 2.2 I'd always be wondering what the Turbo was like!

If you can afford the Turbo then go for that.
I'm sure the 2.2 is still plenty enough fun though.

id drive both then decide!
The turbo will be quicker but its not as if the 2.2 is slow, end of the day a15K 2.2 would be probally newer than a 15K Turbo.
Your choice though, if it was me, id walk in with 15K and walk out with an S2 Elise.

By that logic why buy a normal impreza when you can get a P1 or any other car for that matter when you can buy a bigger engined one.

2.2. The car weighs fuck all and you get decent power and smooth torque delivery. They are exciting enough with no turbo on them. Plus a car like that deserves a tune up using some throttle bodys e.t.c...
