£1.80 for one frame isnt expensive. But when your packing them all together £18 is too much!

Do people really think they are getting done by postage?

Especially on hong kong auctions etc?

I expect it and always include postage in the overall price.

I can't be annoyed at people for trying to dodge ebay fees.

^ agreed with John, you know the price before you buy. Your not happy then go without. Don't bitch at sellers because the auctioned £3 postage only really cost them £1. There is time and packing materials to consider. Yes they will dodge ebay fees by loading the postage but you still know this before you buy

I've put things on ebay before with £20 postage just because I didn't want to be out of pocket at the end and I couldn't be arsed to go to the post office/courier with the item packed, to see how much it would cost, that's what this bloke has done...

I understand covering some costs by adding a little to postage, bu £18 for some framce is a little more than adding a small amount. Would probably cost less than £10 to send them anywhere in the UK.

Under 30kg is about £6, but he might not know that, it might be the first time he's tried selling something that heavy.

I don't see why people moan. The final price always reflects the postage cost, as John said.

yeah you know the price so wont bid, but doesnt mean you cant point out that someone is charging a silly amount to ship something that would cost 1/2 that cost.

I once bought an Ipod off ebay when the guy lived 2min walk from me in central Manchester. I emailed him at the end of the auction and said Id meet him at the entrance doors to his apartments with cash to buy the ipod, he refused and wanted £15 to send it to me I told him where to go!

You were totally in the wrong there though.

The guy said it would be 15 quid and you still bid on it.

no, it said £15 or arrange COD. He persumed no one would bid who was in distance to pay COD. I would of still paid a small amount for insured delivery but £15 to take it 100m was stupid!

Certainly did, I wouldnt of bought off there otherwise, not for £15 shipping. He was banking on someone winning the auction from further away as it went for cheap in the end.

Thats one of the many reasons I hate ebay, over inflated shipping prices (even if you know them before hand) and dodgey people bidding when your selling

YOUR BID SHOULD REFLECT THE FUCKING POSTAGE COST!

Say an iPod for example. If it had postage of £5 and went for £40 then fair do's. If the postage is set at £15, then the iPod should sell for £30.

Plus, with experience from selling in the past. Postage cost isn't just the postal charge. It includes PACKAGING, ADMINISTRATION (i.e. time out of my fucking day to go to the post office in my car).

Not aiming at anyone, just i'd had negative feedback in the past from some plebs.
