Right going to start having alook at quotes..

Volvo s40 T4 group 16 ins..
fully comp 2 drivers both 33, 5 years no claims..

Going to get a few quotes on the net before I phone to let them know of mods etc.....

Anybody like to guess the kind of quotes I will get for it standard???

Dunno mines up on 20th, got renewal quote for £214, cancelled it, went online with same company & same policy was £166

In guessing about 200 quid for yours, maybe more because its modded

confused add money on to each quote so they can get something from it. If you see a cheap quote, go on to that companies site and make a new quote.

Not going with Admiral as I was with them before and it was all foreign call centres...

elephant/admiral are the same call center (I think)

Bit of a pain but they are cheap as chips

£330 fully comp on standard car with £150 voluntary excess..

what others then?

Remeber this is on a standard car so have to hpone really don't I to put in mods?

£350 with wheels/suspension/grill/ exhaust etc declared, not bad was £440 last year.

Wy dont you do a multi car policy with admiral. Have the T4 and the astra on it.. Might work out cheaper.

I can't wait for a 3 figure insurance quote!!!! i thought 4 figures was bad, i once got quoted 5 figures on a fiesta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Astra insurance is not due tillNov or that....

Direct line £389 but no option to list mods... with £150 voluntary and £100 compulsary excess....

No claims not protected on any of those...

joys of being 33 even on a group 16 car (and it's in my wifes name too )

Phone them with the ref number & tell them you have a different set of wheels & exhaust back box - but it doesnt add to either the value or power of the car..they might honour the quote!!
