I want something quick but it doesnt have to be mega fast because Im 19 and got plenty of time to buy quick cars

In comparison to my corsa GSi it would be a good bit slower yeah ?

A 1.8 SXi/SRi would be quicker than the GSi in anyway, my neighbour had one with all the Irmscher gear on it and its a nice car. Not saying its mega fast but 8.5 to 60 aint too shabby better than the 10 sec GSi Corsa

I used to shoot them down as boring but after driving my mates one it made me realise theres more to life than outright speed etc.

Altho I may have a GSi the SRi is not a bad car by any standard

i dont think it would be that much slower but considering the weight of the Astra.

Be alot nicer drive than the Corsa. My Astra G GSi-T is well nice to drive. So smooth compared to my Corsa.

Yeah like I say the speed factor does not bother me as much any more - don't really need it anyway!

What about the car in general , apart from speed ?

They are ok, interior is quite bland. But well put together, there is nothing major that seems to go wrong. Generally qutie solid cars.

Very good cars, My brother (Gez G on here) is on his second. Started off with a 1.6 SXi which he irmscher kitted and did a few wee mods to the engine like Veccy diesel intake, Panel filter and remus sport centre section. Was fairly nippy and sounded great. Not many common faults i can think of apart from the AFM's go on them sometimes.

Yeah, i would say the standard ones, SXi and SRi have quite bland interior.
Nicely laid out tho...

Coupes have nice interior with the Leather options...

GSi is nice...

Yeah, my coupe made 131bhp as standard.
As said, the 1.8's not bad. Not blisteringly quick but nippy enough.
I like the coupe's as they are, but the hatch looks best with the GSi or Irmscher kits on
I was also surprised by the low insurance I got on mine.

I've recently had my coupe lowered on Eibach springs and shocks. It makes the car so much more fun to drive.

Also the main reason I chose an SE2 coupe is for the interior, its so sexy

Took four to autosport in my sxi last year and one is 6ft 6 .

Went and had a look at an sxi today , met black.

Was really nice and great boot space etc.

No spoiler though and it was up for £3995 , which I felt was a bit steep considering it had done 73k !
