(This is for a mate btw)

Doesn't need to be particularly sporty, but wants something thats quite cool looking as standard (or buying one that has been modded to look nice)

Ideally nothing too old with mega high mileage

My ideas were something like a Lupo/Arosa TDI but he isn't keen on the standard ones. Polo GTI is just out of budget ( )

Any other ideas?

I've just seen a really nice one on migweb but it wont be very insurance friendly

Some Corsa C's, 106 GTi, 206 GTi....

206 GTi's are nice, seen some good ones for around that price.

yeah.. i would agree there. C's can be a tad boring standard. But nice with subtle mods.

Thats green Lupo is interesting!

mk3(i think) seat ibiza cupra 16v, same engine as the vw golf gti 16v but lighter, better handling and cheaper.

3k will get you a nice example
