Only 18 got to be fairly good to insure...... seems tha jap is pretty high

got to have a bit of poke (no 1.0's looking at 1.6 to 1.8ish)

power steering aswell

budget upto about 900 quid

I have a 1l corsa at te moment and i'm 18, i guess it will do me untill i upgrade to a 1.6 sport or get a 1.6 conversion

The car cost me £940 untaxed though.

To be honist the 1l isn't as bad as everyone thinks. Gets you from A to B

DP :S??? Don't mention 1l corsas :@ that's what i have to put up with until april and it's doing my nut in, has to be the most pathetic engine made, my clutch feels like a lead weight as does the accelarator........ and i use as much petrol in that as i always have to have my foot planted on the motorway :@

Oldish Golf ???

The one litre engine is as bad as the 1.2 eight valve the 1.2`s only redeaming features are: Reliability and you dont have to tell people you have a 1 litre

yer got a reasonable qoute on the mark 3 1.8 driver before and they go for pittance
tis an option i'd look at, what are they like to drive?

lol mine is the exact same, it makes it awkward to drive sometimes. Must be something to do with the engine.

not 106GTI and not a corsa yer the wheels will probably slow you down a bit but will go round corners slightly sturdier

Get a 1.4 sport only group 6 I think.

vts is 16v, vtr is 8v and only group 7 so very cheap for a lot of fun.

Hi im 18 with no no claims as of yet. Just selling my 1.3 rallye which has enough poke for sure, group 9 insurance, i pay 950 tpft. Im looking for an RST which is group 15, with no no claims its 1700 in my mums name. 1300 with 1 years no claims.
