why badge a bmw up as a m3 when it isnt
seen 2 in last week
one came up behind me and had m3 grill, so me being in a van thought ill move outta way, he wont wanna be stuck behind me. as he went past it had a 316 badge on the back- cheeky git, he was soon overtaken
then yesterday a old bmw prob a 318 was baged up as a m3 on the boot but no where else was tatty and nasty but the boot was all shiney.
why do this, its like putting gsi badges or vxr badges on a 1.0 12v or 1.2 8v

Later e36 m3's had the m3 badge (all of them might, most with the ///m badge will just have mtech stuff)

0-60 its 3.7, 0-100 its 8.3 and standing quarter is 11.9.
Them figures are for a Tuscan S running 390bhp, mines a Redrose (380bhp) with a few tweaks, prob running just over 400bhp.

Is it not any different to people putting supertouring badges on their 1.2 corsa's

It happens with loads of car models, dont know why people bother doing it! Just a fake at the end of the day.
But to be honest you can tell straightaway if a cars "badged up" especially an m3, you'd defenitaly tell from the noise and speed.
