I know this is CORSAsport, but i know some of you know a bit about these.
Been offered one for 850, got a fuel leak(easily sorted) and goes thru a bit of oil. Is this a common problem and can it be sorted? Are there any other common problems with these things?

If it's burning oil, it will probably need a head rebuild.

What would be causing it to go thru oil?

Its on an M plate, so im guessing its got a fair few miles on it. Only thinkin about it as a runabout for now. Dont mind rebuilding the head to sort it, but i dont fancy stripping the bottom end down too.

As long as it's not thudding from the bottom end, it should be ok I'd have thought.

The engine sounds fine, no knocking etc.

Its got a dent in the front of the bonnet and a smallish one at the front of the passenger door. Apart from that loks ok.
Has had a new turbo on it too.
