I don't know what to do I've become very bored of my C, and want to replace it with something.
I don't need practicality really, and I don't do that many miles.
Ideally, I'd like a VW, as they seem to be reliable, well built and the ones I've been looking at are cheap to insure.
What would you get if you had 4.5k to spend, and reasonable to insure (under a grand), no older than 1999?
My shortlist is -
Lupo 1.4 Sport
Lupo 1.4 Tdi
Polo 6n 1.4 16v
Other suggestions if you have any, I'll consider pretty much anything

I'll be selling the C Joe, which I should get about 4.5-5k for hopefully, considering the mileage and stuff.
Edit- I could sell some hair?

That's awesome Daniel.
How do they compare to Corsa 1.4s? I assume they're a fair bit quicker?

Nope, when its really low, the 14's are perfect size.

They are quite nippy little things.
That one is slammed on its arse on coilovers but still quite a nice ride not too harsh and handle well.
I would have one any day, never thought much of them until he bought his.

You sure yours wasn't 195Nm Jr? They sound like standard ish figures.
Jabbasport seem to do well with them, 280Nm (180lb/ft) is their chipped figure...
