Basically this is what they have offered us:
Fly from Gatwick to Orlando
Pick up a 7 seater minibus for 2 weeks
1 week in a villa in Orlando with a private pool.
Drive down to Miami
1 week in a hotel in Miami
Fly back from Miami to Heathrow

My parents went on a Virgin holiday and they said it was really well organised. The planes are nicely kitted out too with PS2's and all that available for the TV's in the headrests.

seems a good price to me.
had a rough price for 2weeks in Florida in the summer with gf and her friends (of which one owns a villa - cheap accomodation!)
£600 each, includes flights and hire car. it was priced pesimistically but for £300 more seems a cracking deal!

Yeah i done one of the flydrives accross the east side of the USA....
Flights were great, loads to do, loads of channel, films, programs, games.. 10 hours and was kept entertained the whole time.
We arrived at Heathrow, the queue was growing, a Virgin lady (Whooooooooo) asked us if we would like a quick checkin. Took us to a computer, chose our seats, she took our bags, blimey that was easy...
Overall, the holiday was superb, the accomdation was very good.
We only had 1 complaint, but a fairly biggie. We went from Vegas to Yosemite. A message was left for us regarding a hotel change, but no-one was aroudn to talk to, and none of the provided phone numbers worked. After 13 hours driving that day (long route), at 11.30pm in the middle of no-where, nothing open, we had no-where to stay. Luckily a restaurant bloke saved the day and rang around bloody everywhere trying to find out hotel. As it happened, it was another 2 hours drive away. Pitch black, no roadlights, 200+ft drops on the road, rather scarey..
That was my only real complaint as it really screwed us up, but otherwise, it was a superb holiday, one i'll NEVER forget.

I went to florida last february, i booked everything through independant brokers, worked out loads cheaper but that was only for 2 people. the rest of our party(30+)went with virgin, everything was sorted out for them very easily, they take your bags for you at the airport, you really do not have to do anything!!
however for small grouops i strongly advise doing it yourself-its very simple, and saves a lot of money

Didn't you do the west coast
Did this a year ago. Hired a car for two weeks with a friend, and we just went where ever we wanted. Worked out cheaper than an organised fly drive. Went from LA to San Fran to Vegas back to LA. Saw some great sites and met some great people

That seems a bit of a bargain to me. So really all you need is your spending money after you pay the £920.

Yeah spending money, food money. All the same to me. Either way it'll probably end up near £2k each I should imagine.

Yeah my GF wants to go this year but I can't justify £2k at the mo, when I went last it cost me £2k. It just seems to be the magic figure.
