Looking to change my car as i need something a bit faster now i am doing some motorway journeys to work etc

I can spend upto about £4k (depending on car) but im aiming for a bit less

Only other thing is that it needs to be insurable (im 19 with 2 NCB)

the list so far in no paticular order is:

>corsa gsi (if i can find a good one)
>1.6 sport
> corsa C sri
>saxo vtr/vts
>106 gti

any other recomendations

Its mainly going to be a bit of a fun, faster car for a couple of years until my choice of cars that i can buy opens up more

So far ive only drven a GSI and that impressed me greatly

And i learnt in a 12 volt C and like that so i can image the SRI been nice aswell. Might see if i can get myself a test drive in a saxo or 106 as aparently there maybe issues with the pedals.

But seeing as i want something fun a saxo or 106 seems like the sensible thing to do.

drive them all, then you'll know.

the 1.8 sri is a nice car, far better to drive than a B, but not as well built IMO.

then a 106/vts will give you a bigger smile than bedding porn star.

and you'd probably get a vts for the money than you would a gti.

Astra GTE is a 2.0 8v so would have a good engine so would be good for a daily driver

what ig are gsi's??? they can't be too dear. would be better than a vtr. but tbh for £4k you'd be hard pushed to find a better / more fun / quick car with affordable insurance.

Not too bothered about an XE. If one came up i liked i would consider it. But after driving the gsi i dont think that i would need anything more.
