yeah, as long as the floor is as solid as it looks, that's worth the money, interior is mint, and that's the rarest bit.

It's a 23 year old car, mileage is fine

Ring them and ask about history though, you'll definitely be wanting it.

Seems weird they sell lower mileage ones for under 2k though. Would tracking it be a crime?

bending it would be a crime, or stripping it

you'd probably be better buying one privately, they come up now and again, and aren't as expensive.

Id never go out with intention of wrecking any car I own and I wouldnt class a couple of track days as wrecking a car. It works with any car I would buy the same.

mk3 Xr3 is a good bet too Butler, would be cheaper, not quite as quick, but nearly... and less gutting if you did bend it.

I signed up to RSOC now. A club id love to be a proper part of.

The RS1600i stand at ford fair was very impressive LAST YEAR. Thats a show i enjoyed very much and would love to get involved with and also get out on silverstone.

Days of Grace would accept 2.6 apparently. Tempting. Might go have a look.

why use it? there are better alternatives that arent considered collectors cars

you dont pay 3-4k for an RS1600 for its "trick front suspenstion setup" its an old car and another old car of that age wouldnt go for anywhere near that, the only reason they are expensive is due to the rarity and collectability. If you want a track car youd be better off spending it elsewhere imo

its worth money because its a good car, it handles well and loves to be used on track, if i didnt have the trick set up and handle well, it would just be a shonky mk3 eascort and wouldnt be worth anything..........
