ITR would be in your budget, or an S3 (might be a bit shabby though) maybe an S4, Focus ST170 (bit tame though) 172/182 would be alright.

ST170
Fiesta ST
Clio 182
Mini Cooper
Integra type R (dc2)
Civic typer R EK9
Lupo GTi

note all these above meet the criteria of being fun to drive

You wont even get a ropey S3 for less than 10k now unless its an insurance write off.

Maybe Willay Maybe mate Just dosn't excite me like some of my old cars have and even though it's quick etc but the rest of the car can't cope with it.MPG isn't as good as i thought either and that was one of the main reasons for getting one.

Celica's are a bit too tame hitman..I've had a 323i coupe and the bills when it went wrtong were enough to make you cry so and M3 is out.

Was close to buying an S3 to Robin but again if it goes wrong £££££ and my old A3 Turbo was quick like the VRS but no fun at all

Really after a DC5 but can't stretch to it.

I sugest you drive the Focus, Lupo and Clio before you make them statements as these are cracking cars.

Fad, I was looking earlier, there are some S3s available for less than 10k, but they're high mileage.

EK9 Civic would only be as old as a DC2 Integra.
