they gonna broadcast this live?
edit - the ironic thing about it all, even though he killed thousands of people, iraq was in better state with him in power (electricity for starters) than it is in now

Agree, they should have thrown him to the relatives of his victims and let them deal with him as they saw fit

Not so true though really. Funny how my army friends who have served in Iraq think Saddam being hung is good and that Iraq is better now.

Bush invaded Iraq for oil, and for oil only.
Why else would he invade a country 8000 miles away?
Like the parties in the streets which will ensue when Thatcher snuffs it, it will be the same scenario when Bush steps down/dies/.
The sooner the better. He can take his little bum buddy Blair with him as well.

For the people being opressed yes. For everyone else, not a chance.
Iraq is a no hoper.
Should never have gone in in the first place. Or they should have got the job finished when Iraq invaded Kuwait in the 90's.

he should have been punished/hanged/fired/ (or whatever)
BUT YES, it was not a fair trial...Maybe nonsense in your eyes or your mind or you have a personal issue against me (just over the internet).
Again, it confirms how low you can stoop to try and make you funny or maybe racist (who knows)...Maybe you think I will defend the man because his name sounds like a Muslim....
I never defended that man, but defending the very same thing that would have been different if it were in the EU or somewhere where the rule of law prevails
Was the execution a just punishment for Saddam? I think not...
but was the trial fair a fair one?..i think not...

So true...
The world has seen Rumsfeld shaking hand with Hussein in Iraq to renew relations between the countries. That was well after the 1982 massacre. Why did American not go there at that but instead helped Saddam agains Iran?
