the car as it was ;

pritty nice i thought lol.

had done a few things to it sinc bouying it about 3 mounths ago like hid headlights new rear abs ring ( cracked) anda few other lilttle bits and had a re occouring problem of the osf abs sensor having no signal meaning no abs, id cecked it out for resistance compared to the other side and a brand new gm one and all seemed the same so cleared the code and all was fine, then going down a road i know quite well towards a roundabout i was going a bit too fast (road is national speed limit) and it was wet i thought no probs abs will slow me down, hit the brakes the rear locks up abs light came on back slid out and i couldnt correct it so ended up hitting the central reservation bit and sliding side on int the roundabout abaslutly fubaring my car and giving me and my brother stiff knecks, could have been a lot worse if it had flipped mind so im glad for that and im paying for repairs like the lampost etc was breathalised etc all leagal and no further action was just silly of me to be going fast in the wet and deserved it really tbh. pics of the car as it is now;

so thats it basically will be splitting it once ive sorted the lampost out etc and will be looking to get a corsa gsi i think

Ouch - the snapped alloy looks like a plastic wheel trim.

Glad all is ok though - did you not get a telling off for dangerous driving?

about the car though. As you say, could have been worse. At least it was only a lampost and no-one else.

Gutted .

I'd be interested to know how bent the chassis is. From the look of the pics, the doors and bonnet still seem to be in the right place, so it looks like suspension damage more than anything, that could probably be had cheap from a scrappy.

Maybe i'm too optimistic .

yeh it doesent look too bad an i could prob get away wit hnew suspension parts and a new wing but i bet theres a lot of damage to the underside as the fuel tank is leaking now, and its very rare arround here for there to be a 5 stud cally in a scrappy for me to nick bits off of
