got my driving test today
i just hope the fog has cleared up and the road conditions get a bit better.. it's at 3:30 so it should be ok. then if i pass i got the great task of phoning insurance companies
im using a 54 plate 1.9 dci Renault Megane.... quite a nice car to drive, just sounds like a pig!
I'll post back when i get home and let u all know..

Good luck, best advice i could give is not to be cocky!!! I had planned where i was going, who i was meeting and everything, and i failed!!!!!!! Next time i was still as confident but not cocky, flew through with only a couple of minors!!
Best of luck mate.

yea my instructor was saying to me, he went on his instructor day when he was training to become an instructor, that he watched a video, where this learner was reverse parking, and touched the kerb, pulled forward abit sorted the steering lock, and done the task properly. they then said to him pass or fail?....he was like FAIL!!... nope they said passed...
if you only touch the kerb slighty, then rectify the problem, and do the procedure properly it could be a pass. all depends on how the examiner feel i suppose... got to deal with low fog today aswell

Cool.
I thought as soon as you hit a curb you fail..
That's what I was told anyway

I did that too, but stalled at some traffic lights, thought I'd failed, and drove better afterwards.
Good luck Jonesy.

good luck
I stalled on my test and passed, as long as you know what to do to restart the car safelt etc all is fine..
Not like my mate who stalled the car at traffic lights and was trying to turn it back on without turning the key back 1st, the examiner had to tell him what to do he failed

You can touch the kerb, just not mount it - that's what I was told 2 years ago anyway.
