Had a 24hr test drive yesterday, returned it this afternoon.
Very impressed with the car, just a little bit noisey in 2nd gear due to it being a diesel.
Heres the deal I have been offered
Settlement for Old Car Finance £8000 (1.4 Active Sport - 4months old)
Trade in value of old Car £7000
List price of New Car £12225
Discount of List price £1251
Total amount to change £11999
With a good bank loan works out at £230 per month
What do you think I cant make up my mind.
Is this okay for a 130bhp turbo diesel

How long is that over? And £230 is to buy the car outright with no baloon payment at the end?
Did it go well?

Doesn't sound too bad I suppose. 5 years is a long time to be paying for a car though.
If you like it then go for it.
What did you think of it performance wise?

Very good pulled in all gears.
Was doing 115mph in fith and still had sixth gear to go.
Over takes anything doing 60mph in third gear like it is standing still

Corsa SXi a/c 1.7CDTi 16v (125PS)
• 17-inch alloy wheels (steel spare) with 215/45 R 17 ultra-low profile tyres
£250.00
• Electronic Stability Programme-plus (ESP-plus) with traction control
£250.00
• Mobile phone system with Bluetooth (does not include phone or phone cradle) and graphic display
£300.00
Similar Corsa would cost £13745

Whats the interiors like?? Does it have leather??
I hated my sisters old punto......only had 21k miles on it but seemed very badly put together & lots of wee niggly faults!!
Does it have to be brand new, what about a VAG 1.9 TDi???

Review:
http://uk.cars.yahoo.com/car-reviews/car-and-driving/fiat-grande-punto-1.9-multijet-130-sporting-1005083.html
No leather seats, but to be honest I dont like leather as after a few years it streatches and looks nasty.
Had the active sport for 4 months now and i have had a few problems with the brakes being noisy, but this was put down to teething troubles on a new model and has hopefully been sorted.
Lost of gadgets on the new punto though has USB port for Mp3, Handfree bluetooth voiceactivated phone, traction control, hill holder etc...
